I can get the receiver to work normally by hard wiring it via a cat5, the problem is when I shut it off with the remote, it then tries to connect again wirelessly, then the network goes down. I connected it wirelessly to a repeater in my home (web6000q) by pressing the connect button, this worked for a short while, but then my whole internet network started to behave erratically and i was forced to disconnect and restart everything including the main modem (V1000H) The Cisco ISB7100 series IP set-tops represent a versatile platform, allowing operators to deliver a wide range of content including MPEG-2, MPEG-4 Part 10/AVC/H.264 and VC-1 video in standard-definition (SD) and high-definition (HD) formats. I was given a Telus ISB7105 Wireless receiver for use in a room that i have no access to coaxial or Cat5 cable, however I didnt get given the normal base station(VEN501) that would have normally come with the receiver.
